CARE GUIDE
Your SAAJ pieces are made to last, but there are some tips to help them last even longer, follow the guide!
1. Taking care of your viscose pieces
Viscose is a natural material, and to maintain its quality, it is necessary to take precautions when washing.
Option: Machine wash
If you want to wash your piece in the machine, make sure to use a program at 30° so that the piece does not shrink, or if you have a delicate program. Remember to wash similar types of garments together (avoid denim pieces, for example), and do not run your machine without other clothes as it could damage your piece. You can also place your items in a laundry bag to protect them from the drum.
Option: Hand wash
Hand washing will allow you to protect your piece by handling it gently (without wringing it). Submerge your piece in water at 30° or cold and use an appropriate detergent. Wash your piece without too much friction to avoid damaging it. Once your piece is washed, you can pat it dry with a towel.
Drying
Your piece will appreciate being air dried on a hanger. Tumble drying should be avoided as it may cause your piece to shrink.
Ironing
It is advisable to iron viscose pieces when they are still slightly damp. Turn the garment inside out, then set the iron to the lowest temperature or silk setting.
2. Taking care of your cotton gauze pieces
Cotton gauze is a noble material that is very easy to care for.
You can wash it in the machine at 30° and the tumble dryer will give it a more puffy appearance. Its crinkled fabric does not require ironing.
3. Taking care of your wools
Your wool pieces are delicate items that deserve special care.
Machine wash
You can definitely wash your wools in the machine; just choose the right program. Opt for a cold wash or a wool program. The most important thing is to choose a suitable spin cycle, as a too strong spin may damage your piece. No more than 800 revolutions.
Hand wash
Hand washing should be done gently to avoid breaking the fibers, so do not scrub or wring too hard. Prefer cool to lukewarm water (15 to 30°) and an appropriate detergent.
Drying
It is best to dry your sweaters flat or on a towel that will absorb the moisture. Avoid drying them on a hanger or a drying rack that can distort your piece.
4. Taking care of your jewelry
Your SAAJ jewelry is made of 2-micron gold-plated material and will withstand water. To keep their shine as long as possible, here are a few tips:
- When you are not wearing your jewelry, protect it in its pouch
- If you have been in the water, remember to wipe them
